The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering came into existence in 2008. It has strong administration, infrastructure and dedicated team of Faculty.
The department is keeping pace with the fast changing technology of electronics and communication in terms of its teaching program and laboratory activities. In addition to core electronic subjects, software based subjects are also included in the syllabus which makes this course suitable for core electronics and many IT industries.
The department has well equipped labs with many sophisticated equipment such as DSO, etc. To cater for computing requirement, department has computer lab with DELL PCs. There are seven labs in the department as listed below:

The Intake in Electronics & Telecommunication Branch has increased to 120 seats from the academic year 2010-11.
