Department of Automobile Engineering was established in 2008 with a vision to foster quality technical education in meeting the growing demand for technical man power in industrial and Automobile sector. The Department offers a engineering program at Diploma level. The Department is equipped with excellent infrastructure and enriched with highly qualified, experienced and dedicated staff to impart knowledge and training to the students in state of the art technologies. The curriculum is given and revised by Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai (MSBTE).
As India is moving on Automobiles & as Indapur is very close to Pune, which when it has become an Automobile Hub on national & international level w.r.t. Automobile Design Centre, Components, Auto Engine & Vehicle Manufacturing centre with not only Indian but each & every Multinational Auto Industry in Pune, then naturally there is great future & scope for Diploma Automobile Engg. Students with more need, requirement from Automobile Industry, So, Our Automobile Engg. Dept., through teaching & learning method, developing an awareness, of Automobile Engg. in students w.r.t. design, principles, understanding of technical subjects , tech.issues, knowledge of auto. manufacturing process, with developing confidence & ability for students to interact with today’s competitive Automobile Industry.
